Streetscape, bicycle route, and pavement enhancements between Spur 527 and Chenevert from Spur 517 to Chenevert. Improvements include asphalt overlay, wider sidewalks, landscaping, street furniture, brick pavers, accessibility ramps, pedestrian lighting, bicycle route upgrades, and other pedestrian-related infrastructure. The new infrastructure improves access for HCC students and other pedestrians to the METRORail station and other transit services on Holman Street. The project is a partnership between Midtown Redevelopment Authority and Houston Community College (HCC), and it will be partially funded through a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant.
