Build Community With Local Law Enforcement at Midtown Houston’s National Night Out in October

National Night Out will hold special meaning for all Houstonian’s  as we  unite neighbors and law enforcement through friendly, family-oriented celebrations. Here’s how you can join this event in Midtown Houston.

Have you ever wanted to know more about the men and women in uniform who devote their lives to ensuring safety and security in your neighborhood? Now you can do just that at our National Night Out. We’re hosting the annual meet-up at Elizabeth Baldwin Park (1701 Elgin) on October 3rd from 5pm to 7pm.

Midtown Houston’s National Night Out Fosters Community Strength

We’re hosting a National Night Out because we want to honor our First Responders who so bravely worked through the recent hurricane to be sure we were safe. We believe the strength of a community is directly related to the amount of trust felt between residents and their law enforcement. Open communication helps us continue to develop genuine relationships that can improve overall safety.

You can meet your neighbors, Midtown Houston board members and staff, as well as our First Responders; the Houston Police Department, Harris County Precinct 7, METRO Transit Authority Police Department, S.E.A.L. Security Solutions, LLC., local elected officials and more at our Midtown Houston event.

It’s important to hear what it’s like being a police officer and the responsibility that goes along with the job. Likewise, police get the chance to learn firsthand about the unique people they’ve pledged to serve.

You’ll have two hours on a relaxed fall evening to engage with your police and participate directly in building a stronger community. Area business owners are also encouraged to attend for a chance to get to know Midtown Houston residents and fellow entrepreneurs.

If you would like to set up a table, please contact Mechelle at events@midtownparkhouston.com.
