For the month of January our program presentation topic will be the:
HPD Vice Division-Human Trafficking Unit
The Houston Police Department’s Vice Division-Human Trafficking Unit will be delivering an insightful presentation on Human Trafficking. The focus will be on the collaborative efforts between local law enforcement and advocacy organizations to identify, investigate, and support victims. This approach emphasizes trauma-informed practices and a victim-centered methodology to ensure that the needs and well-being of victims are prioritized throughout the investigative and recovery process.
The meeting will also be streamed live with sign language interpretation on HPD’s YouTube channel
