Midtown Houston has long been a beacon of creativity, where artistic and cultural expression thrives. We are excited to announce the return of the 2025 MidtownHOU Arts Micro Grants, a program dedicated to empowering artists and arts organizations to celebrate and share our community’s rich cultural tapestry. Guided by this year’s theme, “Cultural Kaleidoscope,” we’re inviting projects that honor Midtown’s heritage while imagining a vibrant, interconnected future where global cultures unite through the arts.
From music and dance to theater, visual arts, and creative writing, we’re seeking innovative projects that foster inclusivity and strengthen community bonds. The goal is to inspire, engage, and create art that leaves a meaningful and lasting impact on Midtown Houston.
Grant Details
The Midtown Cultural Arts District is offering a total of $30,000 in grant funding:
- Two grants of $5,000 are available for arts organizations.
- Eight grants of $2,500 are available for individual artists.
This is an opportunity for artists and organizations to propose projects in Midtown that can inspire and engage the community long-term. We are especially interested in initiatives that go beyond one-time events and can grow into sustainable cultural programs in Midtown.
