The committee helps ensure that budgets, expenditures, and financial policies support district priorities and align with long-term planning goals. Meetings include review of financial performance, funding needs, and recommendations to the Board related to budget adoption and financial best practices. The committee reviews monthly financial statements, investment and audit reports, spending updates across all program areas, and long-term financial strategies. Discussions may include budget development and amendments, reserve planning, and funding requests for major initiatives. Through this work, the committee supports informed decision-making and maintains the district’s financial stability and accountability.
