This summer, Midtown Houston is creating opportunities to help local businesses build visibility, attract new customers, and activate their spaces during one of the city’s busiest visitor seasons.
As Midtown continues to serve as a key destination between Downtown, East Downtown (EaDo), the Fan Festival site, and the stadium, these grant opportunities are designed to help businesses participate in the momentum of Summer 2026 in meaningful, public-facing ways.
Two grant opportunities will be available beginning May 1, 2026:
Applications for both opportunities open May 1, 2026 and close May 15, 2026.
Midtown wants to help promote Midtown businesses during FIFA season through a simple paid social media support program.
The Midtown Houston Economic Development Committee is offering a total of $7,500 in FIFA Social Media Marketing Grant support, with 15 businesses receiving a $500 value in paid social media advertising support each during June and July.
Through this opportunity, selected businesses will receive up to $500 in paid social media advertising support. Midtown will manage and place the ads on each business’s behalf through Meta Business Suite.
Through this program, Midtown will run paid social media ads on behalf of selected businesses, helping increase visibility and awareness leading into one of Houston’s highest-traffic seasons.

The Economic Development Committee of the Midtown Management District (MMD) has established the Façade Improvement Grant to provide funds for commercial property owners within the District’s boundaries, in support of revitalization on a case-by-case basis. Matching grants are available in various dollar amounts up to $5,000. Grants are available on a 50/50 match basis. Your project completion goal June 14, 2026.
