Small Business Saturday Spotlight: All the Feels Shop in Midtown Houston

Every year since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. We know that small businesses need our support now more than ever as they navigate, retool, and pivot from the effects of the pandemic. One local shop in Midtown Houston shared their story of opening up a business during the pandemic, why community support is so important, and what makes their store with unique gifts so special to them.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) data, more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and small businesses create about two-thirds of new jobs in the U.S. each year. This year, you can celebrate and support local businesses in Midtown during Small Business Saturday on November 27, 2021. 

Laura and Alonso are the owners of All the Feels Shop located at 3229 Milam St, Houston, TX 77006. Their dream of opening up their own brick and mortar started in grade school; and the pair are self-proclaimed creatives who wanted the space to support other creative individuals. They said that despite the challenges of starting a new business during the pandemic, they would not have taken the leap of faith and opened on March 4, 2021, if the pandemic did not happen.
