Streetscape enhancements along major east-west corridor from Brazos to Hamilton including wider sidewalks, landscaping, street furniture, brick pavers, accessibility ramps, and other pedestrian-related infrastructure. The Elgin Street enhancements will improve connectivity for pedestrians in Midtown to access transit services and will also provide a seamless pedestrian connection through Midtown to adjacent neighborhoods. The project will be partially funded through a Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) grant.
