Midtown Park + Plaza

2811 Travis St, Houston, TX 77006

Midtown Park is a signature urban oasis in the geographic heart of Houston. Designed with a visionary $40 million investment by the Midtown Redevelopment Authority and an additional $8 million raised through a dedicated capital campaign, this park is more than just a green space; it is a hub of culture, art, and community where the energy of city life takes a backseat to outdoor serenity.

Bagby Park

415 Gray St., Houston, TX 77002

Located at the bustling corner of Gray and Bagby Streets, Bagby Park is the hub of community life in Midtown Houston. Since its opening in 2003, this 30,000 square foot park has been a cherished gathering spot, reflecting the Midtown Redevelopment Authority’s commitment to enhancing urban living. With its lush, shaded lawn surrounded by Mexican sycamores and Shumard red oaks, Bagby Park offers a refreshing escape for Midtown residents and visitors.

Elizabeth Baldwin Park

1701 Elgin St, Houston, TX 77004

Elizabeth Baldwin Park is a timeless treasure, blending historical grandeur with contemporary charm. Established in 1905, this 4.8-acre City of Houston park is renowned for its majestic century-old oak trees and original fountain. Recent enhancements by the Midtown Redevelopment Authority (MRA) have revitalized this historic gem with $500,000 worth of modern upgrades, including a state-of-the-art playground and improved lighting, all while preserving its rich heritage.

Elizabeth Glover Park

3104 Austin St, Houston, TX 77004

Glover Park, a unique 4-acre retreat at the intersection of Elgin Street and Austin Street, is a charming haven for both canines and humans. Owned by the City of Houston and meticulously maintained by the Midtown Redevelopment Authority, this recreational gem offers a serene escape from urban life. Here, tail-wagging takes center stage.
