Houston Hair Battle – Hair Portrait Art

Houston Hair Battle 2016 is an annual event that fuses hair styling with competition, fashion, entertainment, and community. Last year, over 400 spectators were in attendance with dozens of competitors, and it has sparked excitement for a spectacular expo for 2016. This year, the event will be held at House of Dereon Media Center located in Houston’s Midtown District.  We are proud to present Roman “The Golden Voice” as the show’s host, along with DJ Supastar providing the non-stop music.  Also learn the techniques to creating the perfect portrait hair art masterpiece by Lici Lady Barber!

This opportunity allows local barbers and stylists to reach their full potential not only in the latest styles but by promoting professional growth. Established by OG Barber Game Promotions in 2015, this event also supports programs that provide grooming to some of the city’s disadvantaged youth. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Houston Area Urban League.
