Memorial Day, Sunday May 29th from 2PM-2AM
This epic, beer-centric event was created by and for craft beer lovers!
Rare Beers | Local Breweries | Creative Cocktails | Photo-Moto Photobooth | Food Trucks | Mystery Loves Company
Local breweries Buffalo Bayou, 8th Wonder, Karbach and Saint Arnold will each offer two of their finest brews from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Mongoose versus Cobra (MVSC) parking lot. Beer sampling tickets are $20 and good for eight 4 oz. pours.
Entertainment includes live music by Mystery Loves Company, a converted vintage Volkswagen Bus photobooth by Photo-Moto, and Famous Grilled Cheese food truck.
Inside, MVSC’s beer wall will showcase rare beer selections, aged and new, carefully curated by Imperial Andy including rarities from Buffalo Bayou, No Label, Real Ale, Copperhead and Southern Star from local breweries, and from further afield explore delicious brews from Stone, Goose Island, Deschutes, Oskar Blues from the greater United States, and from further afield BrewDog and Wild Beer from the UK, and LoverBeer from Italy. On cask will be offerings from Jester King, Ballast Point and a very rare Brewdog cask to be supped upon.
MVSC’s annual prom returns with a Hunter S. Thompson-theme, complete with Gonzo punch inspired by the legendary and irreverent writer and cocktails made with his favorites — Chivas and rum.
