The stakeholders of Midtown are invited to join the Public Safety Committee for their regular monthly committee meeting. Key law enforcement agencies in attendance will be sharing monthly statistical data on crime and targeted enforcement in the Midtown community.
Since the creation of Midtown the volunteers of the Public Safety Committee have been working vigorously on safety initiatives in Midtown. The Public Safety Committee meets the third Tuesday of each month with representatives of the Houston Police Department’s Southcentral and Central Divisions, the Harris County Constable for Precinct 7, Houston Community College and the Metropolitan Transit Authority Police Department to share and review crime statistics for the area and discuss ways to address law enforcement issues within the Midtown Community.
The meeting is open to the public and all are welcomed to attend. Midtown property and business owners, and residents are especially encouraged to attend the meeting to discuss relevant topics and share ideas for proactive solutions to related community concerns
