Samba and Forro Dance Class

Learn two different popular Brazilian dance styles during this exciting class. Samba is a partner dance from Rio de Janeiro that evolved as a ballroom dance to the Brazilian samba musical rhythms. Forró is a lively couples dance that has its origins in Northeast Brazil. It encompasses various dance styles as well as a number of different musical beats. Bringing a dance partner is not necessary to participate. The class is free and open to all skill levels. Instruction is provided by the Brazilian Arts Foundation.
