Steps for Students 5K

Steps for Students is an annual archdiocesan-wide event where all school and parish communities and business and community partners come together as one to support Catholic education. The goal of Steps for Students is to raise awareness of Catholic education and provide much needed resources for the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. This day of family fun includes a 5k USA Track and Field Association sanctioned race and Post Race Party.

1K: Route begins at 8am on San Jacinto St. at Jefferson St., north on San Jacinto St., east on Bell St., south on Caroline St., west on St. Joseph St., north on San Jacinto St., ending on San Jacinto St. at Jefferson St.

5K: Route begins at 8am on San Jacinto St. at Jefferson St., north on San Jacinto St., east on Dallas St., south on Caroline St., east on Leeland St., north on St. Emanuel St., east on Bell St., south on Nagle St., west on Leeland St., south on Hutchins St., west on Pease St., south on Caroline St., west on Webster St., north on San Jacinto St., ending at San Jacinto St. at Jefferson St.
