Join Us For National Night Out to Learn How You Can Fight Crime in Midtown Houston

It’s that time of year again when Midtown Houston community members, law enforcement and leaders gather to participate in the best crime fighting tool ever invented. Our upcoming National Night Out event is your chance to meet neighbors, officers and Midtown Houston board members and staff.

Why should you mark your calendar for October 2, 2018? Let’s dive into the reasons:

Fight Crime Alongside Your Neighbors

This initiative brings together so many individuals who might not have the opportunity to meet otherwise. Visit Midtown Park between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to start building relationships with neighbors.

During the event, you can learn valuable information on best safety practices while also taking home giveaways. There will even be a bicycle station that allows you to engrave a personal identifier.

Enjoy food by JCI Grill, a classic Houston establishment, including burgers, hotdogs and veggie options. Then, you can switch to something sweet with a KICPOPS gourmet ice pop.

Connect With Midtown Houston Police and Leadership

At National Night Out, you’ll meet with the Houston Police Department, Houston Fire Department, Harris County Constable Precinct 7, S.E.A.L. Security Solutions & Training Academy and Houston METRO.

Connect with the Harris County Police Department @HCSOTexas on Twitter and the Houston Police Department on Facebook @Houstonpolice. We hope you take this opportunity to learn about crime prevention in Midtown Houston!

We would love for more Midtown Houston businesses to participate in this event. If you’d like to set up a table, please contact our Operations Manager Cynthia Alvarado at calvarado@midtown-tx.org.
