Help Shape Your Midtown Houston Community by Volunteering to Serve on the Board of Directors

Have you ever wanted to make a direct impact on your community? Now’s your opportunity to do just that while holding a significant leadership position. Bring your ideas and help shape the future of Midtown Houston by volunteering on the Midtown Management District (MMD) Board of Directors. The Board needs individuals with time to develop programs and projects that will benefit your neighborhood  

How You Can Be Considered for a Position on the MMD Board of Directors

The first step to being considered for the volunteer MMD Board of Directors is to make sure you qualify. Local Government Code qualifications include (1) be at least 18 years of age, (2) be a resident of MMD, (3) or an owner of property in MMD, (4) or you have  to own the stock of a corporate owner of property in MMD, (5) or be an agent, employee or tenant of a person covered by Subdivision (2), (3) or (4). Please be sure to identify yourself and include your work address and home address on your résumé submission. Staff will qualify all résumés received for consideration. Positions serve a four-year term that ends June 1st on odd-numbered years.
