Live Music and Craft Brews at Midtown Houston’s Virtual Party

Now that we’re seeing an uptick in COVID-19 cases in the state, it’s more important than ever to do the thing that we know works best to slow the spread: social distancing. Live music and the arts in general, have been essential as we look for new ways to stay entertained, creative and curious. Luckily, local artists still have a stage in Midtown Houston.

While you’re staying in, you can still join in on the fun with our monthly virtual party Beats & Eats! Stay in and get your groove on with some local talent while supporting a local restaurant. Grab some takeout –tasty craft brews and delicious snacks–from The Brass Tap Mid Main, and tune in on Friday the 10th from 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm on Facebook. Orders can be placed in advance by contacting Brass Tap Mid Main at (281) 501-0319.

Kicking off the night, DJ Mav will be spinning today’s hits and hip-hop classics to get you moving, and joining him will be iLL Tribe and Luke Whitney with live performances. LHITNEY, as he’s known on Spotify, is a local pop artist with over 24 million streams. Local hip-hop and breakdancing group iLL Tribe are guaranteed to bring a high-energy vibe to a screen near you.

While admittedly, it isn’t the same as an in-person gathering, we are still finding ways to get together and have a good time. Summer 2020 isn’t cancelled, it’s just moved indoors and gone virtual. We hope you can join in on the fun and make the most of these times. We look forward to returning to the park. But until then, let’s eat, drink, and dance in our living rooms, together.
