Mask Up in Midtown Houston

Once again, Mayor Sylvester Turner has called on all Houstonians to mask up to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Wearing a mask protects you, but more importantly it prioritizes the safety of others, especially those more vulnerable to illness. The digital media campaign calls on both residents and visitors to continue socially distancing, washing their hands frequently, using hand sanitizer, and wearing masks out in public.

Additionally, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo signed an executive order directing all businesses in the county that provide goods or services to the public to require customers and employees to wear masks and maintain social distancing guidelines beginning this week.

Looking for ways to support Midtown Houston businesses while masking up? Here’s a couple of places to check out:

Community Artists’ Collective – masks are $15.00 and come in two styles: shaped and/or pleated. Fabrics and color availability varies and customers have the option of providing their own fabrics.
